Luke Fotoliv was an amazing photographer to work with!!!! My husband and I decided to get married in Tulum in January 2020. In March of 2019, we were in Tulum, looking for venues and vendors. I don't remember exactly where I found his portfolio, but I immediately fell in love with his eye for composition and use of natural light. We decided to book a 3-hour engagement session with him just to test things out. Not only did Luke Fotoliv went above and beyond our expectations, we decided on the spot that we want to use him as well for our welcome dinner and wedding.

My husband I both aren't exactly comfortable in front of the camera, we get awkward and don't know how to pose very well. We voiced that concern to Luke, and he decided to take the lead and have us interact as normal, and he took very candid and natural photos of us. Luke has been working in Cancun and surrounding areas for some time, he is an expert in where and when to take all the shots. This made the photo sessions seamless and easy! The photos we got back from him reflect our personalities perfectly. Luke really was able to read us well and capture the spirit of our relationship. I couldn't be happier with our photos! When we got our proofs back, it was SO HARD to cut down to the number of photos we agreed upon. There were SO many amazing photos of us, the wedding, and our guests.

Luke was so so so great, and so fun to work with. He has such positive energy and I can't recommend him enough!

10/10!! Martin and I have had the pleasure of working with Luke more than once and we would again in a heartbeat! As a preferred vendor of Akumal Bay Beach & Wellness resort and highly recommend by a previous client, a year before our wedding we visited the resort, and asked Luke to shoot our engagement photos. Neither Martin or I have done professional photos before. We felt awkward posing and were nervous leading up to the session. Within minutes, Luke was able to bring out fun interactions that felt natural and easy while he snapped away. I was beyond impressed with our experience and with the variety and quality of photos. I instantly knew I wanted Luke to shoot our wedding day and my high expectations were met yet again. He blended in seamlessly, working fluidly with our coordinator and videographer. To no surprise, Luke was able to go with the natural flow of events and ensure important moments were captured; providing guidance when needed, but allowing the day to unfold organically. Martin and I were blown away with the end result and overall package Luke provided. I could not have imagined a better experience. We revisit our photos frequently, more than a year later now and admire each perfect moment, deep connection, the party of a lifetime, and overall essence of our day that was captured. They will be forever cherished.

***** 5 stars. Luke is an amazing photographer and soul. He photographed our 3 day, multiple event-filled Indian wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico. He is excellent with communication and was always quick to answer any questions and send us portfolios to look at when we were choosing a photographer. Specialized in destination weddings and various culture weddings, i was confident in his ability. His packages and prices are extremely fair and worth it! He checked out the venues in advance to find the perfect sites for photos. He went out of his way to accommodate all of our needs and get photos of little details and moments that were really meaningful. Many which I didn’t even get to see or remember because of all the chaos, so it was wonderful to see these moments and memories afterwards. We are both awkward with posing and being center of attention, but Luke and his assistant Walter were great about helping us laugh, relax, and help with natural poses. It was nice to not stress about our photos during the weekend. You can tell he loves what he does and has so much fun doing it. He was genuinely so happy to be part of our celebrations and that really meant a lot. He really captured our wedding so beautifully. I advise you look through the albums on his website and you’ll see the talent this man has. Definitely choose Luke for your wedding!

10/10 Sin palabras…los mejores! 

Es difícil encontrar las palabras exactas para describir lo que significaron estas fotos para nosotros, forman parte del recuerdo de uno de los mejores días de nuestra vida. 

Empecemos por el principio. Conocimos a Luke gracias a nuestra Wedding Planner quien nos mandó un par de opciones, en cuanto vimos sus fotos sabíamos queríamos que el fuera nuestra fotógrafo. Tuvimos nuestra primera video llamada juntos y sabíamos que no solo sería nuestro fotógrafo en ese gran día si no también estábamos haciendo una nueva amistad. Teníamos clarísimo que tenía que ser el con su equipo y no dudamos en reservar la fecha.

Después de nuestro primer contacto empezamos a organizar un viaje juntos por Holbox para hacer una sesión de fotos antes de la boda, el clima justo ese fin no fue ideal pero aun así Luka logro sacar unas fotos increíbles y al día siguiente sin pensarlo tanto nos dirigimos a Rio Lagartos para continuar con el viaje y aprovechar que estamos cerca de la zona. Durante el viaje fueron unas horas super divertidas charlando y riendo, siempre nos sentimos muy relajados con él, lo que ayudo mucho el día de la boda en Tulum.

En nuestro gran día hicieron un trabajo maravilloso, logrando cautivar los mejores recuerdos posibles. No podemos pedir más, tenemos fotos que transmiten un recuerdo para toda la vida y estamos seguros de que nos volveremos a ver. Superaron todas las expectativas.

I've appreciated your mix of people and location pics, a refresher for moments which can't be carved in stone and are regretfully fading away(some others faded away immediately due to the hard partying).

The many languages in your portfolio and your ability with people have been a considerable plus for our non-english speaking guests.

Luke is a very professional and friendly person who knows exactly what he's doing.
